SiteOptix™: Delete your account and data

How to request deletion

Option 1: In the app

1. Open SiteOptix™ and sign in.
2. Go to Settings and tap your name or email at the top.
3. On the Account screen, under Danger zone, tap Delete account.
4. Enter your password to confirm.

Option 2: Without the app

What happens next

• You are signed out on every device immediately, and you cannot sign in while the deletion is pending.
• Your account is permanently deleted 30 days after the request. If you change your mind within those 30 days, email [email protected].
• If you are the only Admin of an organization that has other members, you must first make another member an Admin.

What is deleted

• Your account details: email address, name, phone number and password.
• If you are the only member of your organization: the organization and everything in it, including properties, inspections, walks, measurements, photos, reports and other files.
• Sign-in and verification codes, password reset requests and app sync data linked to your account.

What is kept

• If your organization has other members, the inspection records, photos and reports you created belong to the organization and stay available to it. They are shown as created by “Deleted user” and are no longer linked to your name or email.
• An anonymized activity (audit) log, which no longer identifies you, is kept for security and record-keeping.
• Database backups are kept for 30 days and then deleted. Data from a deleted account can remain in those backups until they expire, up to 30 days after the account is deleted.
